Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)
With Amanda Alves
Cost per 30 min session: $9.00
We are experiencing a gigantic technological revolution and the children of today, in the future, will perform functions that do not yet exist. Therefore, it is necessary to train citizens who know how to communicate, deal with unexpected factors, be leaders, be constantly updated, in addition to acting with empathy and creativity, in short, who have social and emotional skills.
Given this scenario, the purpose of this class is to prepare future adults when they are still in the stage of forming their personality. We want them to believe in their potential and fight for their dreams!
With activities that develop resilience, creativity, leadership, determination, proactivity, planning, financial education, and sustainability, children and adolescents can learn the techniques to follow the path of personal development.
All classes and materials worked in this class come from my training as a specialist in Socioemotional Education at the University of Colorado Boulder and have as reference the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL).
